Best Foot Forward!

The new season shoes that will see you through spring!

We don’t know about you, but it feels like we’ve been living in our winter boots for as long as we can remember. So now that the weather’s finally starting to improve, we’re saying hello to some shiny new footwear!

The shoe trends for spring/summer 18 are quite varied- think exaggerated colours and prints, as well as plenty of suede and buckles. Anything goes!

So if there’s ever a time to push the boat out, this season is the perfect chance to do so. We’ve therefore scouted out some super-cool footwear for you to get stuck into for spring.

Whether your skintedor minted, there’s a huge array of styles to shoot all tastes and budgets.

Here’s our new season drop, in price order!

Chunky Trainers, £10
Primark

You don’t need to splurge when it comes to trainers this season - plain, unbranded trainers will do nicely, providing they have a thick sole! The comfiest and most practical of footwear trends, and they look good with just about anything.

OTT Kitten Heels, £19.50
Marks and Spencer

Nope, we’re not kidding. The kitten heel is making a HUGE comeback. We promise! This season, the most demure of heels have been seen on every catwalk from MiuMiuto BottegaVeneta, but they’re not returning in the way you may expect- this time kitten heels have had a super-glam make over. Think bold prints, textures and embellishments. These kitsch heels are our new favourites!

80s Stiletto Pumps, £45
Marks and Spencer

As you can see, Marks and Spencer’s are right on the money with their spring collection. One of THE biggest shoe trends this season, these nostalgic stilettos look fab day or night, especially with fitted trousers. If you’re undecided about which shoe trend to go for this season, make sure it’s this one.

Buckled Brogues, £46
Topshop

If flamboyant styles really aren’t your bag, then go for a twist on a classic. These buckled brogues are wonderfully versatile, and give any outfit a sleek, modern edge. They’re also super comfy too! A great investment pair of shoes that are slightly more weather friendly.

Splurge?!...

Jimmy Choo Stilettos, £347
Flannels

If you’ve got money to burn (lucky you) then go all out with these blue beauties. Bold, bright colours are absolutely huge right now- and if your shades clash, then all the better! Not the comfiest of shoes by any means, but they look absolutely fierce.
